Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?
YES! There is no need to worry when ELF Co. shows up- we are covered and so are you!
Are your employees insured and have background checks?
YES! All ELF Co. employees are regular employees covered under WCB and must pass Criminal Record Checks and Family Services Checks before being hired.
How do I pay for services rendered?
When you decide to book with us we will take care of the rest. The agreed upon amount will be charged to your credit card (Get you those travel points) at the first of every month until you tell us to stop.
Will the same cleaners come to my home every time?
Preferably not. BUT, if this is something that is really important to you, we will try our best. The best way to make sure that your service is not interrupted is to ensure that all our team is available for any job. People move, get sick, change careers, and so it would be impossible for us to make this guarantee.
Can I tip my cleaners?
Absolutely! Elves love tips and presents!
How do I provide feedback?
We love receiving feedback, there really is no better way to know how we are doing than to hear it directly from you. Anytime you’d like to talk to us, please call, text, email, or fill out the form on our contact page.
What happens if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?
Firstly, we are so very sorry to hear that you aren’t satisfied. To err is human, but that doesn’t mean we like it or that we can’t make it right. Secondly, please contact our founder directly at krysta@elfco.ca anytime if you are not 100% satisfied and we’ll be sure to make it up to you!
What happens if something is damaged during a clean?
Though we Elves are very careful and treat your home as if it was our own, things may get broken or damaged. Anytime this happens we will be sure to notify you and repair or replace when possible. We are insured and bonded, no matter what, you are covered!
Will you clean with people or pets in the home?
Absolutely. It’s your home, we want you to feel comfortable. It is easiest to clean a home when no one is around but we can happily accommodate your wishes.
How will you gain access to my property?
The most efficient way to allow us into your home is by giving us a key (and entry code as necessary). Don’t worry! Your keys are coded and secured in our office when not in use for your cleaning. Alternate methods of access can be arranged if you are not comfortable with this, but please note that you will be charged a cancellation fee if our team isn’t able to access your space at the time of appointment.
What if I need to reschedule?
We get it – sometimes life gets in the way. We are happy to reschedule your cleaning when it is more convenient for you.
Are cleaning products included?
Absolutely! Heck, toss out your broom, vacuum, and cleaning supplies if you’d like. You really don’t need them anymore.
What type of cleaning products and equipment do you use?
Keeping your family and home clean and safe as well as the health and safety of our staff is our top priority. All our products are Canadian made, environmentally and animal friendly, and zero waste.
Will I receive reminders about my cleaning service?
Absolutely. We know schedules are hectic and we are here to make your life easier. You will receive an e-mail reminder 72 hours prior and a text reminder the evening before your service.
What is ELF Co.’s lockout policy?
If we are unable to gain access to your property within 30 minutes of our arrival you will be charged for your appointment as our Elves were ready to go.
Can I buy an ELF Co. Gift Certificate?
Yes! At ELF Co. we love to give, share, and Sprinkle Kindness everywhere we go! Of course we will help you do the same for your loved ones. Email us at admin@elfco.ca with the amount you’d like to purchase.
